The article covers a number of decades, beginning in the 1970's, exploring how globalisation started within the apparel industry, and the effect it has had consequently. The article is useful as it describes the move towards globalisation within the apparel industry in the early 1970's. However, the article also covers a variety of other decades and ideas, so the information on globalisation in the 1970's makes up only a part of the article. Despite this, the article is still a great resource on the international fashion industry in the 1970's.
